The Downtown Camas Association works to responsibly revitalize the downtown core through events, historic preservation, marketing & promotions, and streetscape improvement. All this work is accomplished with the help of dedicated volunteers who sit on planning committees and help out at events. DCA Committees include:
- Design and Infrastructure: Working to make our downtown more livable, beautiful, and functional while working to preserve our historic structures.
Chair, Caroline Mercury. - Marketing and Promotion: Promoting our downtown through special events, advertising, tourism, and community pride activities.
Chair, Carrie Schulstad - Partnership and Business Development: Focusing on organization partnerships, business recruitment and retention, fundraising and incentives and educational programs to help our downtown businesses and community thrive.
Chair, Greg Goforth. - Community Arts and History: Supporting and promoting local arts organizations through collaboration and networking and encouraging participation in public art projects and events.
