About our student organizer:
My name is Fiona Zou, and I am a senior at Camas High School. After graduating, I plan to study Public Health at a four-year university. I am partnering with the Downtown Camas Association to organize the Downtown Camas Asian Culture Fair on April First Friday. My upbringing and personal experiences have deeply influenced my journey into this role. I have a profound appreciation for multiculturalism and diversity, thanks to growing up in a family where culture, language, and tradition were highly valued. Additionally, my family’s immigrant background has significantly shaped my passion for promoting cultural understanding and inclusivity. Through this event, I aim to create a space where people from all backgrounds can come together to learn, appreciate, and celebrate the rich mosaic of Asian cultures. I hope to foster a sense of unity and understanding within my local community by showcasing traditional arts, cuisine, and performances.
