First Friday

Downtown Camas offers many events and gatherings throughout the year. "Camas First Fridays" occur throughout the year on each first Friday of the month. Art exhibits featuring local artists, dining, and themed shopping events that provide fun for all are part of each First Friday line-up. In July, the theme is "Rock 'n' Roll Night" which includes a cruise-in with classic and specialty cars along the streets of downtown with Rock 'n' Roll music on the streets and in the downtown stores. The First Friday in August brings the "Camas Art and Music LIVE!" theme with fine art and local musicians throughout downtown. December's event is "Hometown Holidays" with a community tree lighting ceremony, beautifully lit decorations along our main street (4th Ave.), caroling, Santa, and boutique shopping events.

First Friday - April 2nd Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: Spring has Sprung - Will you pick the Golden Egg? (a chance to win in each participating business!)

First Friday - May 7th Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: Camas Poker Tour (Get the best hand and win a prize)

First Friday - June 4th Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: Camas Canine Classic (Dog Show)

First Friday - July 2nd
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: "Rock 'n' Roll night / Cruise In". Join us for our sixth annual car show with music.

First Friday - August 6th
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: "Camas Art and Music L!VE". Fourth Annual Event!

First Friday - September 3rd
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: Art, Women & Wine.  Second Annual Event!

First Friday - October 1st
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: "Pumpkin Pageant". Join the fun of judging pumpkins in every shop. Drawings are held for prizes.

First Friday - November 5th
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-8pm: "Favorite Recipes". This is a night your stomach will enjoy as you sample bites of some of the favorite recipes of downtown Camas.

First Friday - December 3rd
Artwalk, Dining, and After Hours Shopping 5-9pm: "Hometown Holidays". Caroling, tree-lighting, and specials in every store. Shop locally this holiday.
