Saturday, September 29th, the Downtown Camas Association hosted its third annual Girls’ Night Out with almost 200 girlies in attendance. The event was a day into evening celebration in support of women and local cancer charities.

The FREE daytime seminars focused on the risks and prevention of disease and the medical professionals offered up timely and beneficial information to assist in women’s health choices. We are very grateful for the participation of Dr. Rose, Dr. Higgins, Marilyn Goodman, and Gail Weeks, RN.

The evening celebration in support of women was MC’d with lots of smiles and laughter by Shannon Van Horn. Many ladies who are fighting cancer or are celebrating anniversaries of survival came to share their stories and enjoy the evenings festivities and specials throughout downtown!

Also, here are photos taken by DCA staff. We are fond of all the ladies who attended the event! We look forward to seeing all of you again next year!

We are also very grateful for the generous sponsorship of Peace Health and also Cascadia Women’s Clinic to make this event possible. We would also like to give a shout out to Columbia Litho, our own Downtown Camas printing press, who printed all of the Girls Night Out materials.
