Join the Jelly Roll Contest! Jelly Roll Quilt making demonstration on Friday at 5:00pm; contest on Saturday at 10am, both held at Journey Community Church.

Join us Friday evening at 5pm in Journey Church for a demonstration of the quickest and easiest quilt top you’ll ever make: the Jelly Roll Quilt.  All you need is the following: a Jelly Roll (which you can purchase for 20% off at River Quilts on Birch St. in Downtown Camas from July 29th to Aug 4th), scissors and your sewing machine!

Then on Saturday, August 4^th, enter the “Jelly Roll Race” to see who will be the first to finish a Jelly Roll quilt top!

The Race schedule:

9am inside Journey Church, set up and sew your strips together.

10:30 am the race begins!

The winner gets a basket of goodies.  You do not have to compete, just come sew and learn how to make these amazingly simple, yet beautiful quilt tops.  The “Race” is free, but please signup at River Quilts and check out the Jelly Rolls Nancy has at 20% off from July 29^th through race day.
