Downtown Camas Public Parking Guide

Our goal is to communicate the parking situation in Camas.
PARKING LIMITS:
For an enjoyable visit to Downtown Camas, please take note of where you are parking and the parking time limits. The City of Camas utilizes Parking Enforcement randomly; there is no set schedule. Parking tickets are $15.00 per offense. Parking tickets for illegally parking in handicapped parking spaces are $250.00 per offense. We’d rather have you spend that money in the downtown shops, so please park accordingly!
Long Term Parking: For a leisurely shopping experience, we recommend that you park on or north of NE 6th Ave., or park along or south of NE 2nd Ave. These parking areas offer unlimited parking and are convenient for downtown employees and customers looking to peruse downtown for more than two hours. Parking spots are located just two blocks from the heart of downtown.
6-hour Parking: Several of these parking spots are located along NE Birch St., as indicated with the green parking spots.
2-hour Parking: Most of Downtown Camas is set up with 2-hour parking. Parking in these spots caters to those shoppers visiting for a meal, a short errand, or to do some brief shopping.
Miscellaneous Parking: The map illustrates additional parking situations such as 10-minute and handicapped parking. Handicapped parking has unlimited time allotments, but drivers must display the approved handicapped placard in their front car window.
For clarity, parking limit signs are posted on the pavement and/or on street signage. It is the responsibility of each driver to be aware and obey the parking limits.
GENERAL RULES OF THE ROAD:
All traffic rules apply in Downtown Camas.
Remember: Don’t back into parking spots and don’t park
against the flow of traffic. Downtown Camas includes one-way streets;
these are clearly marked.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Downtown Camas hosts many special events. During these events, streets may be closed and pedestrians will be abundant. Please pay attention to special event traffic signs, drive carefully, be aware of pedestrians, and enjoy the festivals.
